Today I want to share with you sights from an upcoming tour I am going to organize: Cappadocia, Turkey! Cappadocia is famous for its "fairy chimneys", whimsical rock formations that appear like the adobe of pixies and elves. I will add Turkey into my list of upcoming destinations.     Exploring Cappadocia

    Cappadocia is a region in Turkey with dramatic rock formations. Like something out of a fairy tale, the terrain of Cappadocia appear like mushrooms, toad stools, and primitive dwellings of fairy inhabitants.     Derinkuyu, Cappadocia

    Derinkuyu is a district in Cappadocia. It is famous as the site of the large multi-level underground city which early Christians used as hiding places. These cities contain storage places, kitchens, living quarters, as well as ventilation shafts, wells and even a religious school. The underground city of Derinkuyu has seven floors and can shelter a thousand people.

    Devrent, Cappadocia

    Devrent is a district in Central Cappadocia famous for the "fairy chimneys", a natural rock formation that has become famous tourist attractions in recent years.
