It's been ten days since my last posting on 7 March. You must be wondering why the silence. Let me tell you what happened: I just went through a horrific crash.
Not the car, but the server. Yep, the server that hosts the AsiaExplorers website crashed, resulting in the whole website (my biggest website) going off the air for a few days. There are over a thousand destinations in AsiaExplorers, but by backup copy is not all that well "housekept", so I had to endure many days putting Humpty Dumpty back together again.
Now AsiaExplorers is almost back to as before, residing on a different server. Please take a look to see if any destination is missing. The list of all destinations is found here: http://www.asiaexplorers.com/sights.htm
By a separate mail, I want to invite you to attend a slideshow I am doing this coming Saturday, at 10:00am. It is from the heritage tour to Angkor which I recently conducted. The venue is the Penang Heritage Trust, 26 Church Street, Penang, Malaysia. Admission is free. During the slideshow I will also be launching my next tour for April (those who attend get first pick to register for it). Meanwhile, my Japan tour is now full, and will happen on 29 March. It seems I will be having a tour almost every month, hence my time is now really full. I look forward to seeing you at the slideshow, as it is one of the rare instances I can meet up with fellow members and get to know you.
